Services for Faculty

Library Instruction

The librarian (Tom Durkin) is available for both in-class and drop-in library instruction sessions. These sessions can be on any library-related topic and can be scheduled at a time and for a duration tha fits with your schedule. Past sessions have included short (15 minute) introductions to library databases, and hour long in-depth training sessions on specific computer applications. Research Assistance

Tom Durkin is also available to assist with any library research related issues or questions, including assisting with database searching and materials requests. For more information, please contact Tom Durkin.

Purchase Requests

The Social Science Reference Library has a very limited budget, but occasionaly small purchase requests can be accomodated. For larger purchases, Tom can work with the selectors at Memorial Library to research new products. Please send purchase recommendations to Tom Durkin.
